My avatar is what I call the chick factory. They are Seramas and Keanu is my only Roo old enough to mate. The 2 girls Kiki and Dumpling co- brooded 1 chick. They provided eggs that went under my broody Buff Orpington who hatched 2 chicks. And then Kiki supplied the 3 eggs that are currently under my broody Black Silkie and are due to hatch this Friday. I know this time that the eggs are kiki’s Because Dumpling took over chick duty and Keanu has only been mating with Kiki. The eggs are also the smaller of the two that I get from the girls.
