At the edge of the band a mysterious mare could be seen crossing the border, her hooves gently padding against the wet ground.

"I am Dark Loyalty," He replied smiling, then half shrugging, "The name is a human thing, it just caught on and I have just kept it. And no, I am new here. Just stumbled in today."

She let out a laugh, a bright smile spreading across her lips. "Ah, I bet. I like it, though. So you escaped from humans?" she asked, her eyes widening with interest.

He smiled again and met her eyes, "Sort of. It was a few months back, they turned me loose. An injury or something, to my leg. I could no longer preform at their standards and they could not afford to feed a horse that was but a lawn ornament. Psshh, I can still do everything. People are crazy, but I turned out all right."

He smiled again and met her eyes, "Sort of. It was a few months back, they turned me loose. An injury or something, to my leg. "People are crazy by the way this sounds. You look like you could perform perfectly; and even if you couldn't, why 'dispose' of you like that?" she asked, her brow furrowing.

She dove for it and drank greedily, finishing several minutes later and dipping her head into it.

"Someone's there," he made a beckoning sway of his neck toward the distant shape that slowly neared them.

He sighed, "I wish I could tell you. Maybe something else caught their eye. People are also known to lose interest at random. They apparently put me on some list too. Carries, no Craigs list. I have no idea who he or she is, but I am fairly sure it is a person with a lot of horses, at least from what I heard."
