The BlackAdder with Rowan Atkinson

Anyone watch this show? It's an old show from the 90's on BBC.

I am reminded of it because of this quote where Baldric and BlackAdder get captured during WW1:

Von Rectoven "So, I am the Baron Von Rectoven and you are the two English flying aces responsible for the spilling of the precious German blood of many of my finest and my blondest friends. I have waited many months to do this"

I modified the quote for a barbecue I had today:

"I am responsible for the basting and slow roasting of one of my juiciest and most tender friends. I have been waiting many months to do this."

It's the best role that Atkinson has ever played. I always enjoyed watching Black Adder back when I used to still watch television.

It's a shift from Mr. Bean, but we adore the show. My kids love the episode with the first dictionary.

Chookschick, I don't know if you are aware...you probably are...but there are several iterations of the show.

BlackAdder in medieval times, Elizabethan times, Victorian times and WW1. I think there may have been one after that but I didn't see it.
