Why do you like this breed?
Do you have Brahma's?
Yes, I had four but lost one. I have three hens now, and two chicks that are Brahma crosses.
Do you like the breed? My favorite breed! I truely love them.
How many do you have?
Like I mentioned above, three and a quarter.
How many do you want?
I want a flock of them. At least one rooster of the breed would be nice.
Why did you choose this breed?
I heard good about them, and that they lay through the winter. Also, they are pretty birds.
Why do you like this breed?
They are so sweet and they come running to you. They love attention and are pretty easy to care for. People act like they are big monsters, they are strong indeed, but not giant. They also have the pea comb of which is less prone to frost bite.
Your turn! Please have fun and fill us in on your everyday journeys of Brahma keeping. Please follow all of the rules. If we want a happy, fun and healthy thread keep it PG based.Yes, I had four but lost one. I have three hens now, and two chicks that are Brahma crosses.

Thank you for taking your time to read this! Start the fun!
I will start:
So last night, I was in the house when my Dad went to check the chickens quiThis is the second time this took place, my hen, Roxy, has a issue with her foot.
It had blood going up it. I put peroxide (with water of course) and stuck her foot into it. Once dry, I put some medical gel on it and she was fine.
The others peck at her foot.
I know, I know... Not the most amazing story! Ha ha. I bet you have better.
Sincerely,
-The Angry Hen
P.S
Sorry if this isn't the best thread.
