Julie's reactions are one of the rare joys in life, that is for sure... I think she helps us notice all the little things that add up to DUCK...

Would you mind telling me what type of feed you use for the 'lings and the adults?

Purina "Start & Grow" crumbles for the 'lings + Brewer's yeast at 1 tablespoon / cup.
Nutrena All Flock for the adults + free choice oyster shell + free choice grit (so they can eat all the treats / grasshoppers / other foraging foods they want).

This weekend we are going to pick up some chick grit and maybe some kale just to give the lings a teeny taste of something new.

That is how these two roll. Allie is the sweetest girl in the world. She looks at everything and studies it. And gives me goo goo eyes when I go over to the brooder and sing to her. Latte and Casey are little terrors running around pecking, poking, biting everything. If they had pockets, there would be a sling-shot in both of their back pockets.
