The Brooding of Allie, Casey and Latte

:)     Well put.  Now that we've established Julie's robustness, we can all post to our hearts' content without worry.  I'll be standing by for today's dose of cute!  :pop
It was a close call, but I did survive, thank you. Did truly have a moment of lightheadedness over exuberant squealing.

@JulieBird: Just wanted to let you know that the 'lings get kisses from me (on their little heads, backs, ...) every time they are on the blanket w us.  :love I just cannot help myself - between the warmth, the fuzz and the smell I'm constantly nuzzling them... Thought you might want to know that. :thumbsup
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!! Good. That makes me envious and happy that you do that. I knew they'd be just like that and more. Do they squiggle around or stay still?

Time for role call and weight. They were Hatched/shipped a week ago today.

Latte: 3.9oz - up 18%

Casey: 3.7oz up 16%

Allie: 5.2oz up 27% (Pekin Power!)

X2!! Lets hope Allie doesn't end up at weight watchers.

gotta watch those hips
I checked my little book and the first reference to Snow's weight would be when she was the same age as Allie will be tomorrow. Snow was 8oz. I am guessing 6-1/2 to 7 for Allie tomorrow so she's not blowing up too fast, just Pekin fast.

Was Snow a Jumbo Pekin?
No, Snow was a regular Pekin. But another possible factor: When we got Allie, she still had her egg tooth and she had egg gunk on her back. She may have been just about dumped from the egg into the box. Ducks have to reach the post office within 24hrs of official hatch time so Snow could have been nearly 24 hrs older on ship day. I am pretty confident Allie will be 8oz by Wednesday.
