Chickens smell good. They smell like....chicken!
No lie, I am always smelling the back of my chooks' necks when I hold them. It's like that warm, delicious baby-head smell you get off a newborn. Even my DH--who thought chickens were dirty and smelly before I got them--has to admit they smell good.

Now, go back and get those peepers!

He didn't even care. So I told him I was kidding. And now I just want to drive back and get chicks. Someone slap me.


I have 28 eggs is the incubator that are going to hatch on monday and i am already saving up eggs again for putting in on wednesday or so (i have to have the time to clean the incubator, otherwise i would put them in on monday already) now i just have to tell my BF that we're incubating more eggs...
