A Northern Harrier (a kind of hawk) took a swoop by the chickens today. I ran outside and yelled at it and chased it for a while until it was well off our property. I doubt it’ll be back anytime soon.

The pond is frozen as it’s been very cold here recently. Kinda funny to watch the ducks run around on the ice.

Timmy (the cat) walked on the ice for a little bit too, but he decided the shore was safer.

Punkin laid her first egg since the girls started their molt back in October!

Ugh the cats like to get in the chickens’ nest boxes and sleep there. We had to chase both of them out of the coop today.
And they are so stubbornly unrepentant!!
