We’ve made the above adjustments last Sunday and we haven’t lost any ducks since! A Bald Eagle did take a swoop at them yesterday though… He was tough to chase away.

Thanks for the tag!I know it’s early, but I‘m thinking about what breeds I should get (for both chickens and ducks) next spring. I’m really hoping dad takes me to TSC instead of Atwoods because they have a much bigger breed selection. It’s a little bit farther away, but it’d be worth it!
These are the breeds TSC has. Any recommendations?
@StinkyAcres @Little Baby Bean @JustBabyMargo @Chikyboy @The-White-Elephant @Everose and anyone else I’ve forgotten.

Thanks for the tag! For the chickens, I think some kind of a colored layer (crested cream legbar, Americana, sapphire OE) would be cool for you! And maybe a speckled sussex too.I know it’s early, but I‘m thinking about what breeds I should get (for both chickens and ducks) next spring. For Chickens: I vote EEs, Orpingtons, Cream Legbars, maybe Faverolle? Also, maybe Brahmas, Australorps, and Speckled Sussexes. But it all depends on what you want. These are just some of the sweetest, calmest, and cutest I saw while going through the list. Also, it depends on what they have.I know it’s early, but I‘m thinking about what breeds I should get (for both chickens and ducks) next spring. EE, Brahmas, speckled Sussex, cream legbars, Jersey giants- those are the ones that I would go for, but I’m also not sure if they will have all of those in store. Most stores cycle through different breeds, but I also haven’t been to a tractor supply.I know it’s early, but I‘m thinking about what breeds I should get (for both chickens and ducks) next spring.
