The common issue of too many roosters

I'm sure your intent was not to deceive, but as you can see above, there is a world of difference between show quality birds and, as @Skipper81 so rightfully categorised them, "utility birds". Someone wanting to get started in showing who has not done their homework (and there are many out there), might take your description at face value, so it is important to be clear about them. We are not talking about national championship level here or "Olympic" level if you like, just ground roots showing quality versus "utility" which you have.
I'm not personally into showing and I love utility birds which is all I have, mostly farmyard mutts with some pure breeds, so I'm not being snobby here, just wanting to prevent you from incorrectly advertising your birds.

Show quality debate aside, the usual fate for a rooster is the crock pot. If you get attached to yours you need to create a bachelor pen to house your roosters in. Though it is a cruel fate to be hatched as a rooster, you'll have to make up your mind to keep your flock healthy. And sometimes that means letting some leave home. My excess roosters are processed to feed a family. While you can't control what will happen to your roosters once they leave the farm, just do your best while you have them. My only hard-set rule about my roosters is that they don't enter a fight pen to train a game rooster. While my roosters are at my place they live the good life, and once they go, they go. Usually to the crock pot. Not fair, I know, but their bodies feed young children. And thus their life is not wasted.

I hoped the forum had better connections to chicken lovers and it would be a better avenue than me interviewing people who reply to a generic ad.
But wow, searching craigslist posts in an area that I live to try to point out chickens who might be mine that you don't deem show quality, that's awkwardly invasive? Where are you going with this when I posted about re-homing free chickens. I thought this was a hobby site. Again, down a rabbit hole on words taken out of context and I just wanted to find homes for some of my roosters.

Trying to find excess cockerels permanent homes is extremely difficult. Many cannot have them at all, and those who are able can only have so many.

Your best bet is still probably craigslist or listing them at your feed store. It's possible you have a local shelter/SCPA that will take them. Or just build a bachelor pad for them.

I searched cl because I live near you and have 5 barred rock hens.
I was seeing if there was a pass "mountain" in between us. I ordered 2 batches of chicks from missouri last week they both did not live the trip so I give up on shipping from hatcheries.
Sorry to look for your add but wanted to see your/his background. Like...say for instance your add said he's aggressive but you didn't mention that here. That stuff happens.

I would start a completely new thread in this section including your location and "roosters in need of home" or something along those lines in the subject so when someone searches or quickly reads through they find your post. Also a post on your state thread will put you in touch with people who are geographically close to you. If your state has a poultry facebook page that can be a really good way of connecting with potential homes/owners too.

The whole issue I am having in re-homing is finding the most appropriate home where the roosters can have a wonderful life. They are presently living a spoiled existence on my farm but they are bored palling around in their rooster enclosure/ or bachelor pad as some folks are calling it. I have fielded so many emails that I was hoping the forum had other backyard chicken lovers who were looking to add a guy to their mix, like the family I re-homed my Cochin to. It is clear that extra roosters are a common problem, which is sad. And doubly frustrating when they are show stopping specimens or have outstanding personalities.
It is unfortunate that you lost your chicks. That sucks. I am surprised they were shipped in the cold weather. Or maybe it has just been cold here. This years weather has been so odd.

Thankyou, will do!
