see, thats kinda my problem with rating them. I dont want to hurt anyones feelings. I know they did the best they could and if they are all 5 star coops I wouldnt want to put mine out there .

I hear ya'll - I don't want to hurt any feelings, either.

Here's a way to look at giving honest ratings: if 4 - 5 star coops mean that there are pics, details, plans so that other folks can make one like it, then BYC can offer true help to folks who would otherwise struggle with too small, too flimsy, prefabbed coops!

I think it helps to see what people may change to keep the birds safer. As far as looks and and things being a more of want for people I wouldnt let it bother me. But if it information that could save the life of our animals in the end I'm all for that information and I think alot of people may be thankful for it too. ... at least I would hope so. I mean that's the whole reason they/we are here is to learn new things every day.
