She clearly wasn't willing to tell him what had really gone down. She winced as he touched a deep spot and chewed her lip edgily.

He removed his hand as she flinched and proceeded to grab a wad of wrapping, "Well then, I will accept that for the moment. Quite interesting."

"Why thank you. I assure you that though it is sparse, it is the truth" she replied quietly, gritting her teeth.

He nodded and pinned the bandage in place, beginning to clean the other, "Sorry there. The pain should abate soon."
