Im' taking one of my breeding pen 12 ft x36 ft. building 4 small section for night nest boxes with doors,.
I have my only peacock the peach silver pied. pair with 5 or 6 peahens. Of course i like to know which peahen layed what egg.
Great thing about peahens most lay late day time. so i will pen the hens up each night in their nest area, once i find out what day each hen lays. I will only pen each hen in the nest area every other night.
not really a .lot of work. plus knowing what each chick is split two can save year in breeding new patterns into the peach, some of us are getting to old to wait.
THANKS TO A GREAT FRIENDS.........i will be breeding peach this year.....
