Idk maybe its because I'm inflicting my personality into these posts but half of them sound like sarcastic remarks. Like someone was trying to make a joke

I was in some grubby little ma and pa shop awhile back and on a shelf behind the counter they had one of those electric fake fish bowls - the kind that blows bubbles which make the fishes tails move. It a stupid plastic novelty gift I imagine ppl decorate their cubicle with. Anyways it wasn't turned on and to make light of the situation I pointed and said "your fish are dead" (yes I'm blonde and yes I knew it was fake). That guy gave me about the dirtiest look I've ever gotten and said "uh its not real its plastic". Now the irony in this was it probably hadn't been touched in a month- it was filthy dusty and half the water had evaporated leaving sludgy hard water rings as it went down. So I could choose to further ruin my joke and further embarass myself or just ignore and move on - I chose the later. But the guy was an a-hole and called ma over to tell her what a huge dumbass I was (who does that btw?). So now I have to defend myself. I can be fairly well spoken when I try (I have ten years of college including a graduate degree and teaching credential under my belt plus beauty school and several small businesses) so then I had to explain that I was making a joke because their shop grossed me out and i thought that fish bowl epitimised the state of their business. They both gave me the "yeah right" look and I stormed off.
So had those 2 dirty old ppl had access to social networking sites I'm guessing they contributed their encounter with me to the "what's the dumbest thing you've ever heard" section.

Damn them!! And you KNOW they referenced my hair color!!!
