How old is Fiona?
How old is Fiona?
Her color and pattern screams boy, but everything else looks girl, thin legs, no saddle/hackle feathers, small comb. Her look and coloring is very unusual for an EE girl.
If she is a girl I would say she is nearing point of lay b/c of the bright pink comb / face.I am not sure how old she is unfortunately, she was given to me.. =( I was assured that she was a girl being that I traded my sultan rooster for her. So lets hope she is a girl! lol
They look like girls to me! But in regards to the coloring, there really isn't a "breed standard" for coloring since they are just mixtures of various other breeds, including Ameraucanas. You might look at the Ameraucana breed standard and see if yours look like that standard. Wheaten, blue, etc.Hello Easter Egger parents! Here are my EE Bantam babies. Anyone have suggestions for what colors to call them? And if they are really girls? Sybil, about 9.5 weeks:Edith at almost 10 weeks:
Edith and Mary at almost 10 weeks (plus a bantam frizzle cochin butt):
Mary, almost 10 weeks (and Edith in the background):
This is what they looked like a few weeks ago (still sort of scruffy teenagers!): Sybil, almost 6 weeks old:

There are more pictures of them in their photo album: https://www.backyardchickens.com/g/a/6451923/easter-egger-bantams/
