Heres an updated picture of my hopeful wheaten, Cashew!
Does anyone have any adult EEs that looked like Cashew when it was a chick?

Did you get yours from Meyer?

I got 3 EEs from them, 3 weeks old yesterday. Two are patterned like the dark one in the first picture. One seems to be developing a black and gold coloring on the front and back of the neck, the other a black and orange coloring. The third was so white I wasn't sure they had put in 3 White Rocks and 2 EEs but her legs were slightly greenish and she did seem to have a bit of muff (but all the little fluffies including the Black Australorps do when they are a couple of days old). And she seemed to have a slightly brownish rather than yellowish head.

She seems to be developing an apricot coloring on her head, breast and back of the neck but no barring like your white one is showing.

And if you did get them from Meyer, did you order sexed chicks? I'm hoping not because that black one in the second picture sure looks like it is sprouting a cockerel comb.

I actually bought the little guys from a local feed store (D&L Farm and Home Denton) and they were sold as sexed pullets, but thats only about 70%-80% accurate. The Wyandotte definitely looks like a cockerel

Took some pictures of my now 24 day old chicks. These girls don't stand still much and if they are still, more than likely they are hanging under Mama. Excuse the non EE birds

This one was a question when they arrived because she was as white as the 2 White Rock chicks. The only things that said she was probably an EE were her VERY slightly greenish legs and her head was a LITTLE bit tan-yellow compared to the Rocks. As they got a few days older and tail feathers came in, her's were a BIT longer and held higher than the Rocks, but the same as the other EEs. Now she is developing an apricot color on her back and breast and her legs are somewhat darker green.

Pardon the WR chick's butt

This one looks to be developing an orange and black neck pattern

Orange and black (?) with a WR and surrogate BA Mama
