The EE braggers thread!!!

I've heard that 3 rows can mean boy, but I've had EE pullets with a lot brighter (pink) comb than that at the same age. My EEs have been the most difficult to sex so far bc they change so much and no two are the same!

I've heard about that as well, but its not a set rule for EEs; I've seen three-rowed hens.

At 8 weeks that comb is not only three rows, but also bright pink. It's a boy.

Yeah, I had kind of resigned myself to that. Dang. He's also recently gotten quite a bit bigger than Chiquita and they were the same size when I got them. And there's a bigger tail developing.... *sigh* Here he is next to my Wyandottes.

He has the some of the same pretty feathers as my fav EE, Hoot. If we were allowed to have Roos here, I'd like to find one like him to hatch out some more.
