The EE braggers thread!!!

Got this young roo from my parents blue egg flock, hatched from a blue egg, his dad hatched from a blue egg. True blue not green so very excited to have him (i thought it odd his leg color & im disregarding it as i was there when they all hatched from blue shells and have seen the piles of blue eggs the hens produce) Anyhow, the question is- what color is he? Love his crazy color, i just call it barred with red and orange. Not very technical i know...so any input? Thanks in advance!
He's barred, with lots of red 'leakage.' Leakage is when red/gold genes bleed through the dominant silver base color.

He looks to be part Cream Legbar . That would account for the yellow legs and his color . So he is probably cream crele in color . You can get the same effect if he is silver and gold with barring . Here are some of my hybrids .

Has anyone here seen a chicken with pink earlobes? One of my Olive Egger roos has pink earlobes. Candy heart pink. He is a brown silver duckwing. He has just finished his first molt and that is when his earlobes turned pink. He is about 9 or 10 months.
yes. I've seen Black Penedesenca with them where as the others from the clutch had the traditional White enclosed in red his was a pinkish red without the white

I have a Saphire pullet (Tizzy) that I think I am going to pair with him and see if I can get some of the offspring to have the pink earlobes. I am also thinking of putting the silver hen (Crystal) in with him.

EOS was out by herself under the lilac bush in front of the house the other day. I wouldn't have noticed she was there except she "talked" to me when I came out.

This is her above a White Rock, 2 days old

11 of the other 15 girls got brave and came up from the barn to forage the frozen grass while I was taking pictures of Eos. This is NOT what NW Vermont normally looks like mid January.

He is 50% EE and 50% CLB. He does not look like a normal one, but I love the brown (pheasant patches) on his wings.

Yes he came from a blue egg. I use to have a EE rooster that was a serial rapist. My CLB hen got out for about an hour and he is one of the results.

I do like his looks though, the comb and low tail. I just find him pure eye candy. I kept him for a EE Daddy for this year.
