Hi TherryChicken,

We have a couple of hens shaped like this and reddish colored. Same type comb. I always wonder what that type of comb is called..Beautiful hen.


It is a modified Pea comb, most likely a cross of a pea comb and single comb. Some of us jokingly call it a noodle comb.
 
The fresh babies. There is 3 Silkies in there with them and a couple of Barred Rocks. One of the Silkies is about 5 weeks old.





This ones whole body is just as fuzzy as its cheeks. Super cute, but ordinary colored.


This one is the one I think I have to keep. lol I don't have one this color.
Oh I think you do too!! They are so cute, I like the little chocolate one!

I think pea comb too...that's what I've read. I have Madonna, she looks so much like yours...EE wonderful and over 14yrs now...
 
I have a neighbor that has a single chicken that out lasted and out lived the rest of her flock I believe they said she is now 11 or 12 years old. She is pals with the pig.
 
Hey guys my EEs are 7-8 weeks old. Any ideas on sex yet?
