So...long ago I swore to track my EEs as they grew. I failed! I do have a few chick pics to match up with their adult pics.

Not quite as surprising.

This pair:
Dad + Mom

Made:
Who I may cross over the black females that were in the same hatch is the first two chickens I posted in this message. The dad to all four (first 2 males above + two black females, not posted because they are flighty and refuse to let me near them) was a white EE so I figure something interesting might be lurking under their black feathers that this guy could bring out:

So I'll have to make up my mind. Duckwing boy will also get a rendez-vous with Momma Blue EE. His dad was the same as the blue boy directly above but his mom was my now-deceased Silver Ameraucana. He's got such a nice beard to share.

I think that the funky overly-red wheaten-ish cockerel will go over these two (and their black EE sister) just to see what happens:

Miss No-Beard or Muffs.
Two shots of my first-ever female EE to come of the dreaded chipmunk-chick that starts turning white like a boy:

I had better start devising some breeding pen set ups!

I got my first egg from Aunt Bea my white EE today. Shown with a Silkie and D'anver egg. Not the blue I was hopping for but still a nice green. She is 9 months old.
