If I understand Jennifer's post correctly, she wanted to reduce numbers. However, I know from my own experience that selecting some to sell is sometimes difficult.

Some of my "wild partridge" type EE hens [the last between two, WLR Cornish pullets]

My splash EE cockeral [he's penned with Speckled Sussex for hatching eggs of that cross wanted by a neighbor]

Eggs from my EE, [and some from Ameraucana pullets, that will hatch EEs], going to the bator this week [please excuse the three Cornish eggs]

I got my girls from Meyer hatchery, they sell them as ameraucana, I also love the variety and "wild" look. All the girls so far lay green or blue eggs. And most are laying now.

This would be a correct Buttercup...
