Songster
Seriously though, have you tried it? Are you bored enough to try it? Please do and share your animals reaction in this thread! Sing to chickens and ducks and goats. Sing to quails and peafowl and game cocks and hunting dogs. Sing to the barn cats and raccoons in traps and barn swallows!
I sang "children of the damned" by Iron Maiden to an OShamo stag, a pair of Ayam Cemani brothers, their flock and 8 barn cats. The OShamo was apparently impressed and listened intently. Each time I stopped he flapped his wings and crowed. I honestly think he was singing too, and/or thought I was crowing. 3 barn cats gathered around and howled and stood on their hind legs. They seemed to think the song meant treats. 2 cats promptly left the area and watched with disgust from several yards away. The rest sat around me and watched contentedly. A Bresse hen ran for cover and did the alarm call. Most of the hens seemed mildly entertained and stayed in the area intermittently watching as they foraged. The Ayam Cemani brothers cowered with terror beneath a nearby truck. Eventually one came out to crow with the shamo and the other ran away as fast as he could.
