I don't know the answers to any of those questions, but he is 41 years old, able to figure things out on his own, and he needs to do his due diligence to get this divorce over and done. I don't know what paperwork they were talking about and neither did he--no one notified him or her about extra papers (he can get into her email accounts and there was nothing). They did that once before, which is why the court case was delayed, but nothing since then and those papers were taken care of.
Ladyhawk was an atty in Florida many years back and says the judge was being a jerk about it, just like the female attorney who followed him out of the courtroom said. He'll have to start all over again somehow and he'll have to do what needs to be done. I can't do it for him. Last week, his dad told him that these things rarely go smoothly and was he sure he had all the appropriate paperwork for the case. He should have gone to someone and asked if there were outstanding signatures needed, or maybe he did and the clerk was too busy being snarky to look up his case, who knows? He's gotten nothing but attitude from the court so far.
