The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

I would eat those souffles in a second.

Well, if you ever make it down here, stop by, but let me know you're coming and I'll make one just for you! They really are good, even if they didn't rise super high. I was supposed to dust them with powdered sugar, but alas, I found I was completely out.

I moved Thea and her four Brahma chicks to the barn pen and moved Brandy with her six one week old Brahma chicks out to the little coop. Brandy kept jumping at the wall to get out every time someone else left the barn so this way she can go out in the covered, chick-proofed pen for longer periods. And Thea's chicks are for sale-two partridge males and two blue partridge males. Never had an all-male hatch of Brahmas before.

Hector's Jill is molting, post-broody period. She is NEKKID, lol. Her entire back and butt are bare, just like Meg, Suede's red hen, used to do. Meg would blow her entire back from neck to oil gland in one day when she molted.

Good thing I hoard.:)

CORRECTION.
" I Have a larder."

(Not "I hoard".)

Went on into town, to go grocery shopping. Apparently they had no power for a couple days, so all chilled, refrigerated, and frozen food was disposed of. They are not getting enough trucks in to meet the meat, dairy, and produce demand. Far too many shelves are empty at this point. A little bleach is back on the shelves, and a little soap, but not much. No paper products yet. No cat litter, and very little in the pet food aisle. A little cereal, and a few pop-tarts, but for the most part, the breakfast food aisle is empty. It's a good thing I am still stocked up good, so I'm not desperate for anything.
