If I could convince my cat and my dogs that I am safe in the bathroom by myself, I would spend most of my time alone. Jimmy is absolutely barred from the bathroom at all times when I am in there.

Maybe Hector just doesn't like your shoes.

The only time my dog wanted in the bathroom was to hide under the linen shelves when I had Zane in the livingroom in a playpen. He crowed and it completely freaked her out.

Hector better get over it, that big idiot. I'm about to have to get different chicken shoes. Little wood slivers keep going up into the treads and sticking my feet. Guess the soles are just too soft. He better like my navy blue ones I'm about to switch to chicken shoes or I'll make him wear them himself!

That belongs on the "You know you're a chicken owner when..." thread. When you buy new shoes, because your rooster doesn't like the ones you have now. Hahaha.

1mutts, we rented a house that had a bathroom like that. Over the years, the constant dampness cause it to develop mold. My bathroom already has a small closet in it. It also has an A/C vent in there. Due to size, and the vent, it doesn't stay humid in there. The mirrors don't stay fogged up either, so another closet where the walk-in shower is, would be fine.

Wow, thanks! Three votes for #1! I'm going to make a new version of one I did previously, that to me, looks almost Celtic, the God's Eye block. It's a 20" block so pretty big, and I will add a border, maybe a similar purple I did on the original, hand quilted one, not sure. This is the pattern I'll be making again.

Neither is a wrong choice. My goal was visual "pop", not a season theme. The original piece had an orange in the place where this yellow/gold will be going. I was thinking the sunny deep yellow was going to maybe give me more bang in this pattern than the slightly more muted goldish one, though either would look good here, IMO. But, this will be for sale, most likely, so I was trying to gauge the overall opinion of the "masses", so to speak.
