Cyn my Cochin bantams lay big eggs for their size but they are still tiny compared to normal hens eggs

You remember my Shadow? She laid eggs about the size of Aimee's, but rounder. She was eggbound a few times, but we managed to work the egg out. It was because if it was just a tad too wide, it got stuck. But, yes, I remember bantam Cochin eggs. I sure miss the Purple Princess. She was a hoot!

They do it online because they feel anonymous, and don't think there will be any consequences. They are not thinking about the damage such foolishness does to your moral character.
I've grown a thick skin over the years, a lot of that from being a moderator and being called everything except home for supper, but that does not excuse bad behavior. You almost expect the bullies to gang up every time you open your mouth about anything. They have not a clue how to respectfully disagree. And really, I don't think they even know if they disagree or they just see a target to lash out at, for fun or release of their frustrations. Whatever it is, I was raised better than that and so were my sons. If they do it, they sure didn't learn it from me.

I cant quite remember her. I remember pics but I believe she was gone before we started visiting. But from the pics I have seen I can say she sure was a cute little bird!

Cyn those chicks are absolutely adorable!

Shadow was my first bantam, always stayed with the LF flocks, roosters never tried to mate her (except Isaac gave her a few glances when he saw her out and about). She began living with the Belgian D'Anvers and I did hatch some daughters of hers with them. She was very vocal, always chattering.

Here we go again, stolen photos of mine used to sell something, this time in an online chicken swap page on Facebook. This picture, which was on the web, posted here back in 2008, before I watermarked everything, is being used to sell Easter Eggers. The blue egg is from my blue Ameraucana, Nora, not an EE.
