That's fine by me. You can even post links to my videos. I cannot believe folks are so insistent on this ridiculous process.

I posted something up. I worded it carefully so that the FF people can't read it and say I was totally dissing FF, but it got across the message that FF can be dangerous.

You know, I'm not even sure that the woman whose birds died did it wrong. She did what was instructed, supposedly to the letter. From what I understand, there are numerous places on the web (and probably here, too, but I can't read about this subject without being angry and frustrated) where they are badly advised about how to do it so I can't say for sure which way she did it.

My sense of logic tells me that FF is an unnatural food for a species with a crop. My gut has kept my birds healthy for years, other than things that were completely beyond my control such as internal laying and such so I think I'm going to follow what I know to be true and what works well rather than follow other folks who may be hiding some of the bad things about this process for fear of being ostracized. I'm betting they've had birds die like my friend's friend did and refuse to attribute it to the feed because, well, because because, well, it just can't be bad, right? The fervor with which this is touted is enough reason to back away from it. I find that things in this subject area that have such a religious following are usually plain old wrong. Guess I'm spitting into the wind when I try to be the naysayer.

I put the link in my sig line for awhile. Let's see how many wrist-slaps I get.

Mechanic called, and we went to pick up my truck this morning. It runs great. We had just arrived, when Dh's oral surgeon called. He couldn't keep the late afternoon appointment, but would take him right then. Dh took off, I finished up with the mechanic, and went to oral surgeon's office. They let me be in the room until they were ready to extract his tooth. I came on home. Dh is NOT a very good patient, let alone when it involves his teeth. I have to keep reminding myself that I love him, he's hurting, and I can't kill him. LOL!

Yeah, sprouts are fine. In fact, some of the peas in the 13 grain scratch mix that my broody was not eating (weird girl-most of them love those peas) had sprouted on the ground from all the rain. I gathered them up and gave them to someone else.

I think women are more stoic when it comes to any kind of pain, really. Tooth pain is about the worst, though. Don't kill him, Cheryl.
