Oh, I've been watching my son's ex's public FB posts and still, not one photo of the guy or herself or herself with a guy, nothing. But this a.m., there was a post about a new raincoat that her new "Boo" bought for her. Now, what almost 52 yr old woman talks that way?? I positively
loathe that slang term <<shudder>>.
The post says, with a photo of a coat hanging up,
Do you folks find that odd, too? No pictures of this guy, none. It's really weird. She's posting about her new life in public posts, but it's like someone on vacation would do, very upbeat and syrupy-perky-happy, almost too happy, but no people, not him or his family who is supposedly "taking great care of me". If you're that over the moon, and acting like a teenager in love, why no pics of this supposedly wonderful person you found? Seems like she's having to keep up the charade, bought that coat herself, all so she doesn't appear such a fool.

I may be off base, but still....
Whatever, at least we're happy to be rid of her. Hope it's not short-lived.
I helped a company get someone for copyright infringement. I happened to be on
Amazon and this item pops up in my search, an item whose ad photo on a model I recognized as belonging specifically to this company. Then, I checked the seller's storefront and they had stolen numerous photos from the company to represent their cheap products. The
Amazon seller had a foreign sounding name and the item had a price far, far below what I
know that item could ever sell for, as in the items on
Amazon was $16.99 and around that price for several others, mostly all under $20, and the real item in the photo would truly sell for $250-450, so they were perpetrating fraud. I contacted the company, who thanked me and said they'd look into it. Then, I got an email from them last night saying they were going after the company for copyright infringement and thanked me again for the heads-up. I had already reported them to
Amazon, but the company going after them holds a lot more weight, I'm sure.
Amazon would not allow me to do a review of the product, saying it was misrepresented.
