THE FIRST EGG MY CHICKENS LAID

Lol. You do have some interesting feathered friends.
Lol yep. There is never a dull moment here. We thought we lost a hen the other night because we couldn't find her. Our rooster was up on the tall fence by the ducks but she was nowhere in sight. We searched for about thirty minutes. The next morning we found her in the duck pen. What little adventures do your chickens go on?

My husband had to repair one of our runs today because one of our Roosters decided to roost over or on it and went through the top. He wants to get in to the pullets to make baby chicks. : )

Thank you for being a friend. : ) what kind of chickens are they if I may ask? Do you have any pics of them to show me?

Thank you for being a friend here! I have one Columbia Rock, one breed that doesn't have a name but she looks like a Plymouth, one bielefelder, (those three ar between 4 months and 2) one silver polish, one black polish and one Easter egger. (the last three are between 2 weeks and 3 days)

What little adventures do your chickens go on?

Lucy, one of my red sex-links, has clipped wings, but she has learned to jump up on the rain barrel, then on the coop roof, then she walks across the roof and jumps into the yard! Little poop! Luckily, so far, the others aren't following the leader. I have no idea how to keep her off the roof unless I move the rain barrel which isn't going to happen. lol!

That's so funny! Our girls have been exploring the outside (in a dog pen with chicken wire on top and sides) and decided cherrys and cabbage moths are the best to eat!
