~The Forests of Avalon, A Dragon Roleplay~ 2

(Yeah, thought we needed some new moves. Frill's a ninja)
Frill, well squished between Jasper's wings, wrapped the talons of one claw in a tight fist and socked him in the eye as he turned to look at her.
___

"Adeline, we have guests though, how rude of you." He mocked, "You realize if we leave, we are going up? And more so, do you realize what is above us? Can you wait??!"

(Just wait till Jasper starts doin' a jig lol)

"What the he** Frill!! He cursed out loud and whipped his head away from her. He raised his broken foot to his face, to put his weight on his good foot, and rubbed his eye where she had stuck him. Due to her being on his back he was slightly top heavy and swayed off balance for a moment, standing on three legs, and took the opportunity to shove her off.

Her tail struck his wing as she tumbled off of him, regaining her feet and sprinting just to the side.
"You have the nerve to ask me what the hel(looo! :p )?!." She snorted, glaring at him and glancing at Maggie.

"You're right, I should just quit chatter and kill you both." His tone was sarcastic, but he didn't look like he was joking. He stretched the wing that she had hit, and then folded it against his body with the other and limped over to Maggie who was laying still not far from Silv and Adeline. With one claw he reached out and turned her head so that it was facing him and he could see into her eyes. "Megan." He said blankly, she was young when he had been exiled, about the same age as Adeline. "Too bad she got wrapped up in your little revenge game." His gaze drifted upwards to the battle raging overhead, and on the surrounding mountain peaks. "Too bad they all did." He was referring to Frill ratting out Caronia, as he assumed that the most logical reason for the sudden appearance of Camilla's warriors in his territory was because of her. They hadn't exactly parted on good terms.

Adeline looked away with a disgruntled snort, but didn't argue with him. They were already part of the battle now, might as well stick with it. At least Camilla hadn't quite made it to the ground yet... she cast a quick glance into the skies but didn't see the Queen's distinctive blue figure among the fighting dragons.

Amatis's eyes narrowed dangerously when Otulissa revealed her fangs, and although she wanted nothing more then to rip her throat out, Alistair needed help desperately and that needed to be her priority. She looked away from Otulissa again and finished placing Alistair on Arrow's back. The learner was big and strong for his age, but Alistair was not a small warrior by any means and he would have to make the journey on foot. "Go quickly," she hissed to him. "Stop for nothing, he needs attention now. Do you understand?"

Arrow nodded without giving a snarky comment in return as he once might have, the seriousness in Amatis's voice couldn't be ignored. He looked over once at Otulissa, his eyes cold and unfriendly, and tore off through the trees on foot.
"Careful," Otulissa chuckled softly after Arrow, "wouldn't want to drop him."
Mayella echoed Finny's snarl and matched her aggressive stance to the T. For a second she simply stared her down, not moving a muscle. Finally, she took a step to the right, then another, to see if Finny would follow.

Camilla landed lightly in front of Tisep, she had a few wounds across her body, but none serious enough to make her look as battered as Tisep did. She felt a small wave of compassion for the young dragoness, and tried to force it down. This obviously wasn't the time to feel sorry for the enemy, but she was kind at heart and didn't want to end up killing her. "For such a young warrior, you pack a pretty good punch." She said, eying Tisep with a curious, but guarded expression.
Finny held her ground, fire blazing in her one good as her gaze burned into Mayella's scales. She gave a low snort, and a rare green flame puffed out of her nostrils, but she silently cursed as she was unable to produce any more. "Your move," she said, her voice having a sickeningly smooth touch, almost sounding caring.

"Really? Thanks for the compliment," Tisep said with an icy smile that held no warmth. Her voice sounded like she actually appreciated it, but the condescending smile and look on her face clearly proved it was fake.

Tanis looked a bit unnerved, and her struggles were certainly genuine, but instead of looking for Droll, she appeared to be searching for something else. If she heard him speak she gave no hint of it, and before he was hardly finished his last sentance, a loud snapping sound echoed through the trees, followed by the sound of slapping branches and leaves. A thickly woven net of vines, each laced with sharp thorns, fell downwards from the tree tops and on top of Droll. Set off by his movement, and with the help of those who created it, it wrapped tightly around his wings, neck, mouth, legs, tail and across his entire body and stopped him entirely from moving. From behind Tanis, a golden colored dragoness stepped out onto a branch and peering triumphantly at Droll. "Nice work Tanis! Right on target!"

The net had been strung together by Kyra, Arrow, Chandler and Coraline to help defend the cave where the injured would be tended to, against an outside attack. The vines were thick, strong and not easily cut through by claws without painstakingly sawing at them. During the few moments where she appeared to land, Tanis had informed Kyra of her intentions to lure Droll into the trap, although actually getting stuck herself had not been part of the plan.

Droll had constantly refined and trained his muscles to the point where they were about as good working and strong as one could make them. Because of this, he was able to get his mouth open a little. "Clever move," Droll chuckled "but not as effective as you may have wished. With that he opened his mouth a little more and began to spew flames. Since the net was right in front of his snout, the fire had no time to disipate whatsoever and immediately started to eat through the net with surrprising speed.

Arrow, already disappearing into the trees, didn't hear Otulissa's soft chide... but Amatis did. With the learner gone she growled deeply in the back of her throat and took up an aggressive stance in front of Otulissa. Alistair was her closest, most cherished friend. Nobody would get away with hurting him, not while she was still breathing.
___

Mayella didn't need to be told twice, she leaped quickly at Finny's shoulders, claws outstretched.
___

Camilla didn't seem to notice Tisep's smile or fake thanks, or she just ignored it. "You know, I'm looking for someone in particular. Maybe you can help me out the easy way, enough blood has been spilled already."

At this point Tanis managed to haul herself out of the tree and joined Kyra along the branch. She glanced cautiously at the healer when Droll started burning away the vines around his mouth, but Kyra didn't seem as nervous as she did. The vines had been collected to hold a dragon, so obviously they had put measures in place to prevent one from escaping through fire. "Quickly, there is a stash of vines collected underneath the trees. Wrap them around him, everywhere except his mouth. Chandler, Coraline, help Tanis." She ordered.

Tanis leaped down from the branch and grabbed a mouthful of the vines Kyra had indicated. She began wrapping them around Droll's body in addition to the ones that were already there, further containing him in their trap. Despite his attempts to free himself by burning vines around his mouth, it only freed the front of his head, which left his neck and the rest of his body trapped.
