The fortress is nearly complete!

theoldchick, I know how hard it is to post pictures on this site. Once you understand it then it's ok.

Go to UPLOADS on the bar just under the advertisments and click on it. It will bring you to a separate page and there you will click on BROWSE....

You will have a screen pop up and it will be your files. Pick a picture you want to upload. Click on it then hit OPEN on the file screen. The file will now be in that empty spot next to the browse button. Click SUBMIT. If you have dial up you will have to wait a bit. That's what I have and it takes forever.

Sometimes you will see your picture loaded once it's finished. To post that picture you right click on the box next to IMAGE. It will be a file name. A small screen will pop up and you then click on copy. Go to the page you are posting on and right click then hit paste. You are basically copying and pasting that file to your post. You DON'T want thumbnail because the picture will be too small.

It will show up in a letter format. If you click on the "PREVEIW" button on the bottom left of your post you can see what it will look like before you submit your post.

I no it's a lot just to get a picture up but I know you can do it. One step at a time. BTW, sometimes when loading the picture the pictures doesn't always show up. You will have to go to the bottom right of the upload page and click on MY UPLOADS. There you will find your picture.

I hope this wasn't too confusing. If so, maybe someone else can explain it better.

Well, I'm trying. I've got a few pictures in the upload but I think my air card connection is just too slow. I added the photos, wandered off to dig up some rocks, and came back to find the progress bar still flashing stupidly at me. Maybe I'll change my avatar to one photo.

And ya'll can come for the coop warming party. Each person must bring chicken food or chicken supplies.

Actually, I'd just love to come BUT, here in North Idaho we are STILL

in the throws of a snowstorm that is supposed to last 2 more days to add the the F O O T of snow we have now. Sure hate to miss the Grand Opening but ya all have a wonderful time.

Coop project in now pushed back 2 to 3 weeks

I'm bringing incondencent (sp) (old kind) of light bulbs so you don't have to worry about having heat for your brooder. I hear they are going to become obsolete soon, so you'll need to stockpile them.

Or I could bring a couple of silkies so they can do your brooding for you.

Hey, I would come over if I you were close to me..... lol. I made some nice fancy nest boxes. I can't believe so many are getting snow still. It was perfect here today. I wish it was like this everyday. I even sprayed my horse down with the hose and he loved it.

I want to see a picture so BADDDDLLLYYYYY. If you have a few loaded you should be able to post a couple. They post much faster then loading to the site. Someone mentioned photo bucket. What is that?

Maybe I should get a few silkies. My hens just won't go broody. They don't seem to have the patience.. UGH.
