The Health Care Law.

Well, Royd, I haven't read the 2700 page bill either but from everything I've read and seen it seems like a good bill to me. Maybe you can point out specifics in it that are dangerous as you claim. I'd be open to hear it. I might even agree with you though, I wouldn't hold my breath, we are pretty much opposites. My brother ended up with a tumor a couple years ago. He's a fire fighter, very physically fit and overall healthy, barely even drinks. His bill was well into the six figures to have it removed. He has great insurance and everything went smooth but not everyone is so lucky. He has a wife and two daughters to think about. This would have sank them. I know it doesn't seem to be popular with you and your cronies but I look forward to a time where anyone can go to the hospital without worrying about financial ruin. I believe your expression for compassion is "bleeding heart." To each their own, I suppose.
It's very simple. It doesn't take 2,700 pages of legalese to give everyone health insurance.BTW, would you sign a contract where your lawyer told you don't worry about. We'll figure it out when the situation comes up? Noone would, if they are in their right mind. So, why would you embrace such onerous legislation, unless, deep down, you enjoy the thought of having the American people get it stuck to them, because they've just had it too good for too long?

According to what I read, the death panel in Obamacare is the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) - 15 unelected, unaccountable officials who have the authority to make cuts in Medicare payments if per capita spending exceeds defined target rates. Reaching the rates can drive Medicare providers out of business resulting in denial of care for seniors.

what is the diffference in having to go along with this bill or not having a say in the matte at all. Our state didnt ask us if we wanted Obamacare they took it upon themselves to sue the government and not recognize it. Is that any different I didnt get a say in what I wanted or needed. I truly hope this bill will help me and the others out there like me. We were covered with company insurance until they down sized and let my husband go Of course we could not afford cobra (who can) so our insurance lapsed. Now he has retired I can not get insurance because of preexisting conditions.I cant get medicare yet as i have 3 years to go. I need an MRI and other tests that i can not afford as our local hospital has a prepay policy or no tests. My doctor has told me and I quote "Well you only have 3 years to wait for medicare until then you will just have to live with it." It being a pinched nerve in my spine and neck resulting in constant pain I am not the only one like this but it is very frustrating hearing all the complaints from people who dont know anymore about this bill than I do Those I assure you have coverage or no medical conditions to worry about.
I hope the reform works for you. I do believe it is meant to help people in situations like yours.

It's this kind of nonsense that makes people roll their eyes whenever they read your posts. You start off trying to make a point but then you end on some sensationalist, radical viewpoint. I really don't know at what point you ever thought the healthcare in this country was "too good."

About the death panels... I thought that talking point died over a year ago.

The reason 27 states have sued is because lawyers, rooted in the Constitution, realize that as it was written, it defied the rule of law. It is their duty to place the people of the state above the desires of the Federal Govt.

You can trust me on this. As the years pass, more and more little gigs against the American people will come out about this law, and everyone will say,I didn't know that was in there.

Just remember the IRS is the collection army for this tax.Do you think that they care, one iota that someone is going to end up on the street, over this, anymore than they do about someone who can't pay their income tax?

They should forget about ethanol, altogether. It takes more energy to create it than it produces, and it is a destroyer of all soft components in fuel systems..

Oh, sure, small engine mechanics love it, because a two cycle engine that should last 10 years with no maintainance, now has to have new components every year or two.

Sorry, but it's about as useful as the 1.6 gal. flush toilet.
I bet ethanol wouldn't cost as much to produce it from hemp. There are cannabis entrepreneurs out there just waiting to be free from prohibition so they can start creating with the blessed plant. I know ethanol isn't good for most older engines, but new machinery, cars, ect. are being created with ethanol in mind. I do believe it is a cleaner form of energy, and likely is a step in the right direction, but not the way the Republicans mandated ethanol from corn which drove up the price of food. Government mandates are not right in a "free" society.

Yes but nonsense talking points from 2010 will, and have. Like the people who are still talking about the birth certificate. They are just late to the race.
No.. You just haven't looked at the definitive evidence....The BC which Obama presented as his, was not produced on a typewriter....Computers offset letters from line to line, typewriters don't. If that doesn't open your eyes, you choose not to see.
