The Health Care Law.

But it costs thousands of dollars to go to the emergency room - If I get hit by an unisured motorist I can go to the ER and will be stuck with massive medical bills!
Going to the emergency room now that is a big problem with healthcare especially for something that is not an emergency.

Does the definition of poor include those that can buy I-phones, video games, beer and cigarettes at 6.00 a pack? but not insurance as someone said 40.00 a month.
If you have drivers license issues like suspensions (no insurance) driving without a license, and of course unsafe driving habits, $40 a month insurance is hard, if not impossible, to find. Try $75 a month.

I'm not defending beer and cigarettes over paying for insurance, but an extra, random $6 is easier to come by than a steady $75 a month. Spending that $6 to forget your sorrows for a couple hours with a 6 pack is really just an act of hopelessness. It takes discipline to save that $6 and eventually have enough to pay the insurance company.

This is why I speak up for urgent care centers. I believe there are some provisions in the reform bill to increase the numbers of these types of centers.

My real thoughts: If Obama wins this law will last as long as social security. If Romney wins: Grim outlook for the bill but who knows.

I really wish the election was tomorrow. I am getting so tired of it all.

Nice beard growth, rebel, your last picture made me think you were in high school(I kid, not trying to be a jerk).

I disagree with your comments, however. I made a dumb mistake when I was 20 years old. I fell asleep at the wheel after a long trip and I took out a telephone pole. It had a transformer on it. I forget the exact cost because I was under my parents' insurance back then but it was well into the six-figures. My insurance paid for all of it and it did not cost my family anything besides the deductible. I was on my parents' plan at the time.) It is possible that Oregon and the Independent State of Dade NWGA are different... but here we are covered.
Is that all you were under?

We have lifeflight insurance about 75.00 a year through the fire dept. fly for free (well almost)
I guess the costs can vary considerably. If insurance willingly pays the bill, I suppose there is little reason to challenge it. Kind of like the $200 Tylenol.

I guess you just don't comprehend how much you are spending in overhead. If you take a look at this bill and your first reaction is to see the poor as a victim I really do not know what to say. Delusional as the website you linked us the other day. You are a victim of sensationalism.

To say you don't see the health care law as political? I just don't get you.
Don't attack me try attacking the facts I stated. Your lack of responding to the facts is deafening.

I'm not looking at the law as politics I'm looking at what the law does.

Yes some people will make it political that doesn't mean I have to see it as such. Are you looking at the politics or the facts ?

And can we get off the car insurance issue it's not a good comparison to health care.

I don't really get this comment. Why would I ride the bus? I have a car and I pay my insurance. My comment was a response to saying auto insurance was unnecessary. I think you are trying hard to make a joke but lack the sense to do so.
I was not really joking... if anyone is unhappy buying auto insurance then the bus is the next option. Maybe I understood you as saying insurance was not necessary if you think it is then never mind. On a side your age brackett will be paying the most under OC compared to what you pay now if you have healthcare insuarance.
