The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Ciro had a tough time keeping his face straight. Korim's hopeful naivety was redemptive for Ciro's perspective of his own home, but only momentarily. If only the issue of Mexico City's darkness was a greedy dictator. "Not exactly. Our emperor -actually, he's called a president- is pretty happy with the land he has- at least as far as I know. No, the bad people, they're...inside our country. There's lots of crime and hurting." He became aware that he was largely speaking to himself when Korim's attention was demanded away by one of the girls, but continued anyway. "Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good, too, and my aim, always, is to find it. Have to keep your head up or you'll miss the dawn, you know?" And he did know that he needed to hear that from himself as much as possible. Positivity kept you going just as much as nourishment or rest ever could.
Why do you mix English into your speech?“ Korim asked curiously. He couldn’t relate to the “finding the good in things” part, so he latched onto that instead. Borealan life was nearly perfect, except for when children went missing, and he couldn’t think of anything good about that.

Ciro immediately reddened and the wolf got even hotter against his bare chest. "Sorry, it's unintentional. Spanish is the language I was born into, but I've since picked up English, and now I can't always keep my words in only one." His eyes wandered to where the little man's cat was fumbling at the beginning incline of the mountain, and the resulting laugh relieved a bit of the unnecessary shame he was making himself suffer. "I guess- I guess my mind just moves too fast."

Kevin kept walking, frowning as he caught bits and pieces of his companions conversation. He heard a few people speaking in what he assumed was Spanish or Italian, a few other people repeatedly asking if it would take days. It was starting to frustrate him. Kevin wished he was alone in the woods again, or alone with Lilith, Kylan, and Aria.
Aria. That’s it.
He spun around, facing Aria. “Ari, how many people can you teleport? And how far?” He asked, looking down at her with an intense stare.

“I-I’m not sure” Fred said looking at the ground. That was the scary thing, he and Kipp had been arguing a lot lately so he wasn’t certain of anything anymore.
(Great!!)

She huffed an angry sigh scrunching her sharp nose up and breaking her gaze away from him to burn holes into a pick axe instead. ~He has awful friends. ~
"We need to start working again before someone notices." She said quietly, letting her frustration go. There wasn't anything they could do right now. "Are you able to work?"

“I need food,” she stated flatly, which wasn’t a lie.

One eyebrow furrowed down as he studied her, not moving to give her what she wanted.

"You told Seina she could go with you."

He said with a fake cheerful voice, hopping down from the wobbly wooden stool.
"We helped your friend." He blinked as he forced a small smile stepping toward her. "If you think I'll let you leave with out her. You're very very wrong."

“Um I can probably teleport up to 10 at a time. But the thing is I have to be able to visualise where I am going” Aria said meeting his intense stare

Horror surged through her. “Help?” she shouted. “What did you do? What did you do!”

Taken aback by her sudden shout for help, Grafe quickly shoved a finger to his lips shushing her urgently. Fear and confusion twisted his face into an exaggerated grimace.
"What?!" He whispered loudly, he could only hope none of the guards had heard her. "I - I got that medicine for your friend. We- you-" He stammered trying to figure out why she reacted the way she had. He shook his head hissing a breath through his teeth. "It doesn't matter. You said she could come with you. You said you'd get her out of here. You have to!" He continued to speak in a hushed voice, glancing at the door nervously every few seconds.

Of course. She was stupid. Anxiety was making her stupid. Well, now I’ve done it! “Sorry, I panicked... I thought you were a guard. I- I just nearly got whipped and we knocked a guard out, so I’m kind of jumpy. Let’s just grab what we can and get out of here.”

“Yeah” Fred grimaced

Kipp slowly made his way across the open cavern, slipping between each hiding spot as quickly as he could watching the guards as they made their rounds. Eventually coming to the open area with the lower ceiling and crouching down in the hopes he could pretend he belonged there.

He sided up next to Fred and made awkward stabbing motions with the dull sword to make it look like he belonged there. "Hey. We have to go."
