The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“Wait, silver?” Korim asked, grabbing the coin. It was dark in the cave now, due to the fact that Kylan was embracing his little brother. “That’s real cool,” he said. “Sorry you got burnt though,” he glanced at Blair.
Take watched gleefully as Kit ran about him, pleased to see that the canine was finally reunited with Blair and himself. He didn’t exactly have a pet of his own, so this was the closest thing to it. He reached out and grabbed Kit, hugging her close without the care of getting muddy himself and smelling like wet dog. “You’re like a muddy pig” he smirked, letting her go and wiping some collected mud off her head. He turned his attention to Blair after hearing her harsh reaction to apparently something silver. “You good?” he asked, getting up and coming over to her to observe her scalding.

Take immediately smacked the silver coin out of Korim’s hand and angrily cursed the metal currency for burning Blair.
Kit trotted up to Blair quickly, unsure why her owner had reacted so abruptly.
Blair nodded, observing the burn as it slowly healed. "Yeah. It just burned me." She murmured. "It's fine."

“Okay then...” Korim said, pocketing the silver coin for safe-keeping. Could use it for threats later. Or bribery.
Kit trotted up to Blair quickly, unsure why her owner had reacted so abruptly.
Blair nodded, observing the burn as it slowly healed. "Yeah. It just burned me." She murmured. "It's fine."
Take gave the coin a disgusted glare until it disappeared into Korim’s pocket. He relaxed his face and nodded to Blair’s words, “If you say so.” His eyes fell on Emma, who was heavy-eyed and exhausted, “You should probably set her somewhere to sleep... and eat something.” he advised, looking around for a spot that seemed comfortable, but he doubted anywhere on the ground would be. “You got my sweater? She could use it as a pillow.”

“Oh,” Cam said, remembering Noah who was now in the shadowy corner. “Noah honey? Do you need anything to eat?”
Noah shot out of the corner, throwing himself at her feet like a dog and whining “Food? I want food! Give me food!”
Cam took out her pack and rummaged for a packet of dried meat. She took out a strip and he snatched it and began gnawing ravenously before she could even hand it to him.
She looked at Kipp with concern. “Uhh, when have you last eaten? Oddly enough, I’ve never experienced behavior like this from Noah before.”
She hastily tore off a piece of bread, which Noah held close while he crouched on a pile of gold, staring suspiciously about and still chewing, ready to fight anyone for his hard-earned vittles.

AND THUS
They saved the day.
It took them like three months however. Olim’s armies were liberated, ordinary people once again. Olim himself vanquished. Borealis was free! Earth was no longer under threat. Everyone had all the adventure they could ever want in a lifetime. They had much to gain. Wisdom, newfound strength in the face of adversity. Dragon fighting skills, super healing, etc etc even some tokens from Borealis. A few pictures, proof of the place they had been.
Korim and Elon skedaddled with gold they could bring home to their families.
They had most certainly saved the world. A portal hung before them. Laurel was smiling. He had these deep brown eyes you could never forget, so warm. Cam had never expected it. It was like a hidden majesty.
Kyle peered at the portal.
“Wait, that’s my apartment!” he said. Apartment in a light sense. It was really a 10x10 storage unit with a dollhouse in it.
“In Blahtown Missouri! A shame,” he said. “Since I won’t be living in Earth anymore.”
(That’s right guys, they just saved the world. I know we are all kind of bored of Borealis, so they are returning home to the quarantine that happened while they were gone. They have absolutely no idea what they are about to get into. Any questions?)

“Hmm,” Kevin said to Take, turning away. His gaze fell on Torin, lowering his gun and kneeling down next to him.
“Hey there, Torin,” Kevin said softly, hoping he wouldn’t scare the boy. “Can I take a look at your back?” He leaned his head to the side, glancing at Torin’s back. His face stayed blank as he looked at all of the rocks and debris stuck in the wound. “I’m going to help you, okay? I’ll help make it better.” Kevin carefully spun him around, resting a large hand on Torin’s shoulder. He sent a wave of magic through him, numbing the wound as he picked as much of the debris out as possible. Once he was done with that he closed his eyes, focusing on healing the wound. Torin was small, and therefore didn’t make him as tired as it would’ve if he was a full size adult.
“There. How are you feeling?” Kevin asked once he couldn’t heal him anymore.
Aria closed her eyes in relief when a small boy stepped forward but her eyes snapped open again when she heard that he’d been whipped. “Oh my gosh” she whispered looking at the young boy, nobody deserved to be whipped. Particularly not a 6 year old child, she offered a weak smile to the kid trying to attempt to make him feel better.
"Kevin, I am forever in your debt." Kylan said, and then time no more sense, life was erased-- Amer had teleported them before their controlling overlord Bri could do anything.
She had decided she'd write something long and funny in the coming hours of the high noon.

“We’re going to MISSOURI?” Cam asked. I don’t want to ever go to that place again.
“You’re not going home?” Noah asked. He had become fascinated by the brave, fierce little person.
Take gazed about the group he had been fighting with over the last couple months. It was a long and unforgiving journey to liberate Olim’s armies along with saving Earth. As he stood before the portal, thoughts filled his head and his face was visibly troubled. I don’t want to go back home, I like it here. It feels like I belong where weirdos like me are seen as any other person. There’s always adventures, something to do, unlike back home where I struggled to even pay my rent. I feel happy here. He took a couple steps back, his expression changed to one that was more determined and finalized on his decision to stay. “I’m gonna stay too.” he murmured without hesitation.

Cam swayed in the silky green gown that hung around her ankles. She also had a cape that hung over it, and a crown of flowers sat on the hair that had been twisted round her head, making her look like some queen of vegetation. The leaves around her were beginning to change. Fall was beginning to touch the land of Borealis.
At home, it’s probably springtime, she released.
Yes... she wouldn’t exactly fit in with everyone in Earth, but she had gotten used to wearing dresses by now, but her clothes were totally ruined. Also, the Borealans had dressed her and her companions like this out of respect. They were basically royalty now.
At least I’m not bringing my sword. Alas, a bitter parting.
I’m so ready to go home.
“You know what? I don’t care if it’s Missouri. I just want to go home again.” she informed Kipp.
“And none too soon,” said Laurel. “I think you’ll find Earth a different place from when you left it.”

(This is what I get for replying so late XD)

Blair stared at the portal, Emma and Kit blissfully unaware of her struggle as they played nearby. If she had been offered the chance to go home three months ago, she would have jumped to the chance. Now, however, it was different. She was stronger and faster then she had ever been, transformations were easier and she was free. She wasn't scared to face the unknown, and college tests now seemed so minuscule in comparison to what they had faced.
She wanted to stay.
Maybe the clothing wasn't the most comfortable, maybe the men's trousers were a little to large on her, maybe it wasn't a perfect life for a girl who was hardly an adult and was more interested in ballet and college then anything. But she grew to love it. The adventure, the freedom.
But she had Emma to worry about. She couldn't take the girl away from her parents and friends. She had barely been able to take care of her along the journey. And part of her almost longed for home.
At Take's words, she slowly turned to look at him, her shock obvious. "You're staying?"
