The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"She's got her other super senses in her favor, that's for sure." Aella responded, watching people file out of the house one by one, including many loud children. Thankfully they steered clear of them. She unceremoniously dropped herself back down beside Ta, grinning at the banter between Ciro and the wolf. "I'll keep an eye on her," she ruffled the fur between Taquikkar's ears, scattering the stray blades of grass that clung to her fur. "She'll be just fine. Right, Ta?" Even though she asked it like she expected an answer, she clearly got none, but was none the less enthusiastic.
After brushing Ciro off, the usually apathetic direwolf responded to Aella in unusual kind, laboriously wriggling herself through the grass to trustingly lay her massive head right into Aella's hands.
"Nice, Ta, love you too," Ciro grunted in mock offense. "Been sneaking her any bribes I don't know about, eh, El?" he asked Aella teasingly. Then his clenched palm just happened to open and accidentally send the fistful of grass that he'd been mindlessly ripping up flying their way.

His face scrunched up at the incessant poking, and he tired to wave her hand away with his own before he finally opened his eyes.
He blinked up at her a bit confused to not see his brother standing over him.
"Right..." He closed his eyes again relaxing into the bed for a moment longer before rolling himself off the bed and clumsily getting to his feet.
Hana retracted her hand away from him and drifted back over to the bathroom, awaiting Kipps sluggish arrival. She paused, deciding to bring a stool for him to sit on instead of standing for a long period of time. She quickly flew down the stairs and into the kitchen, picking a random stool that was around the island and giving an awkward wave to Blair as she left with her kidnapped wooden victim. She returned to her patron and sent down the stool, “Is there a certain style you want?” she asked, catching her breath.

"Is short a style?" Kipp asked smiling and scratching at the mess of hairon his head. "Thanks, by the way. I kind of needed a hair cut before we we're taken to Borealis." He sat himself on the stool she had brought, letting his wings hang down out of the way, and tried to come up with something to talk about.
"So, now that we're back, what's the first thing you want to do?"

Aella ran her thumbs over Ta's cheeks, amused with having a massive direwolf act like a lap dog towards her. She turned in Ciro's direction with a slight grin, shrugging. "No idea what you're talking about." She told him, though not sounding truthful in the slightest. "I would never do such a thing."
Not a moment later, a handful of grass showered Taquikkar and her. She flinched back, not expecting the ever so peaceful vegetation to suddenly attack her, until she realized that it was actually Ciro's doing. She blinked, sliding her hand out from beneath Ta's head to brush a stray blade of grass off her face, not bothering with her hair or clothes as she tried to figure out why exactly Ciro found the need to pummel her and her peaceful wolf with grass.
She didn't question it, though, and ripped up a handful of grass herself, and flung it directly at Ciro, her confused expression quickly turning into a mischievous grin as she caught on to the point of it.

Deciding he could no longer put it off, Kevin walked outside, pulling on a pair of rubber boots and a thick flannel jacket. He walked towards the barn, looking around as he did so. Cam, Noah, Juliana, and a few of the other kids were playing in the trees, Aria was standing by the garden, and Ciro and Aella were by the porch. He couldn’t help but notice they were pulling up some of the grass, and bit his tongue. It’s just grass. It’ll grow back. He mentally told himself, forcing himself to be calm and keep walking. Something told him it was going to be a long couple of weeks.
He entered the first barn, with a shovel and a bucket. Patting one of the cows on the head as he walked by, he started to shovel the manure into the large bucket.
Once he was done, he dragged it to a compost pile, dumping it on top. He did the same thing with the second barn and all of the coops, and then filled the bucket with fresh compost from the bottom of the pile. He carried it to the garden, smiling at Aria and giving her a small nod as he walked by. Dumping it onto the plants, he evenly distributed the compost with his gloved hands, standing up and wiping his forehead with the back of his wrist after he finished.

Hana gave him a humored hum at his question, short enough for him to manage it and be able to see. “You’re welcome” she replied, draping a towel over his shoulders to prevent whatever hair she cut off from making too much of a mess on him. She began dampening his hair with a wet brush, flattening the fluff on his head. “Well.. I want to visit my grandfathers grave in Kanazawa.. guessing that they’ve already buried him. Then I’ll go back to..” she cut herself off, realizing there was no way she could reveal what she did for a living to this young boy. Even if she changed dramatically over these past few months, she still had a reputation to uphold as a silent assassin. “-I’ll go back to San Francisco and keep on with my life.. of course whenever this whole virus issue ends.” She didn’t really desire much now that they were back on Earth, and she already crossed ‘getting a haircut’ off her list. Once Kipps hair was tamed and wet enough, she started trimming off the sides, being particularly careful around his uniquely shaped ears. “What about you?” she returned the question.

Kevin looked down at Aria. “Heh, no, thank you,” he replied, returning her smile. “Shoveling manure is... not pleasant. I doubt you would want to come near. Oh, and stinky. It’s very stinky.”
Aria laughed “okay then. I will leave you too it. Do you have horses? I was wondering if I could see your farm when your done with shoveling the manure” she asked. She had taken horse riding lessons for about 3 years before money got tight and she had to give it up, she missed riding sometimes but most of all she missed being around animals. If Kevin would let her she’d happily brush his horses for him If he had any.

"Oh, you're in California too." He said a smile touching his face before fading as he realized Take wasn't going to be there anymore.
"First thing, I guess... I'd like to see my family again. I'm not sure how well that'll go over, but I miss them a lot. After that?" Kipp sighed, he hadn't really given it much thought. Life would inevitably go on as it always had. School, and work on a never ending cycle. "I'd like to travel around a bit. I dont know if it's possible, especially with what's going on right now. Who knows when things will start opening up again." He sighed looking at himself in the mirror. "Do you think we'll be here long, or do you think Aria will start taking people back home soon? I'm glad we're all still together, I just, don't know what we're supposed to do here. We're home but we're not. Kevin was worried about being in America without a passport, but I think he's the only one who actually belongs in Russia." Kipp bit on his lip to stop the what ifs that suddenly popped into his head, from spilling out. The idea of being locked up again made his stomach turn.
