Whoo yay, the incredibly slow person has finally figured out that you need to put your horses in the box at under 20% energy to get special items. I've been doing this non stop now.

Actually, I think I might be wrong. It didn't work the second time I did it on the same horse. :/ Maybe there's a limit to how many times you can... anyway. Just thought I'd share that exciting discovery.

Click on the apollo's lyre closest to the bottom of your howrse's page, the one in the second row. It should let you there.

I'm pretty sure the item finding is all entirely random. I think some top breeder also calculated that you'll find an item on average once per eighteen hours spent in the box. Kind of discouraging...
