Wouldn't it be better to hunt bear in the fall when they are nice and fat from eating all summer? I would think the bear in the spring would be too skinny and not good eatingtalked to my neighbor/friend, had some coyotes and wolves around. lots of snow around, said trappers are having a tough time getting much this season. this is about 4-5 hours north of where i live.
already planning on bear hunting this spring. think where going to take the muzzle loaders this year.

I put it in the fridge for a couple days before I trim the meat.
