So far I have caught chipmunk, toad and a pine squirrel in my weasel boxes. I was sad about the toad. .. Hoping that means none are around. Last one I seen was hit on the road and my driveway.

Here was my helper today:

That my youngest Granddaughter. That is not a peace sign, that means she caught 2 fish.

We did good today, we got 30 larger bluegills, 5 crappies and one northern.

But some idiot ran right over top my tip up. First time I used it. Stop said he didn’t see it and took off. I am out the 29 bucks. How do you not see a fluorescent green disc and flag sitting on the ice in the middle of the lake?

1. have you ever been hunting before
2. do you use a bow, a rifle or both
3. what's your favorite hunting season
4. do you hunt every year or at least try to
5. what's your favorite part about hunting

1. I have been hunting annually for approximately 10 years
2. I started compound bow only but now use crossbow and rifle in the field
3. Rifle season for whitetail is my favorite
4. Yes…started hunting public land and now have permission on 2 private properties
5. Enjoying outdoors and putting meat in the freezer

What poundage did you use for your bow?

I was pulling 45-50# I have the Mission Craze which is totally adjustable
I need to have it restrung…..haven’t even picked it up since we remodeled the backyard and blocked our 20 yard range

If I were to hunt with it again, I’d probably back it down to lowest legal weight (35#) nothing worse than having a deer come in and not being able to draw in a tree stand
