Well looking at this pic maybe his comb is about the same after all
He is stunning. :drool

I talked to 2 APA guys about getting the chocs in. Just have to come up with the money and the folks that want to do it. The main deal here is the bigger breeder's want to sell the chocs and don't care about getting them in the standard. Email me and I can tell you the story.

Really.........now is that all bigger breeders, or just some, or anyone in particular? That's a very broad statement.

I will try my best to help out any way I can, Lay it out here Don, what do we need to do,
Never done this before, never showed any birds either but I'm interested, we just need to be pointed in the right direction. These little birds are a pleasure to own.

Uh oh, is this only Bantams, I don't have any bantams......I have the intermediate from Christina ( on the 3rd generation) and I have large fowl chocolates that I imported, but I don't have bantams. Can I still be included, how about the large fowl chocolates?

Roger and Paints, I have never did this. We have not had a new orp bantam or standard in alot of years. Right now I think (my thoughts) the choc bantam "might" have a chance. Number wise. You have to have 5 breeders, folks what ever in on this and it takes 5 years or more time if needed. At the show you have to have 50 birds, from at least 5 different breeders. Also there is rules about family members and stuff like that. I have std buffs and I love them, always have. The sad thing is there gets less and less stds out there at the shows. I would think if you got the bantams in it would be as hard to do the stds. Now that is what I think. Walt is on here and he is one of the mail guys in the APA. He can tell us what we need to know.
