Hunt up that black K, and put them in a honeymoon suite.Black Orps can't afford to loose those genes.All that "mean Green", and wonderful wings, oh my!

Hee hee...So true...mean green indeed..my morning treat over cup coffee..seeing Julie birds..and a real plus seeing the other breeders birds too.....makes my day..

Do you plan on outcrossing to Gold Laced birds, to improve lacing, to get them looking like they should?

That would be a fun project!

Actually they are the equivalent to splash in the blue orps. So breeding to Gold Laced would produce Blue Laced Gold. If you bred to a Blue Laced Gold you could produce more of this color or bred them to each other (same prenciple applies as in the Splash)
