The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Okay, I am like a new momma this morning. I have a beautiful Silver blue baby chick hatched when i got up. It is large too. Have two more pipped. I am hopeful. I am betting they will all be blue if they hatch as the black girl was in a molt so I don't know if she was laying or not

Congrats... I know how you feel... had a single E Buff hatch out during this storm business.... poor thing just peeps and peeps... I put one of those feather dusters in there near the light. The baby attacked it at first but now... all you see is a pair of feet in the brooder as he/she hides in it.. lol Finally stopped peeping and is happy.

Congratulations! Babies are always a gift from God. You know we'll want to see pictures.

While this picture isn't about chickens.... but I wanted to share it with you guys specially after this terrible storm. It is very special to me.. I have never seen the beginning or the end of a rainbow until I saw this. It was literally shining out of the Ct River.

Doesn't that mean that the pot of gold is in there? Go fishing for gold.
