Beautiful day here in Alabama. Never thought I would be running the AC in Jan. Nearly 80 today. I made a couple of pics this morning of my only black Cockerel that was hen hatched this past year. He needs a name. I may keep him. He will be 8 months old the end of the month. Still has some growing and filling out to do He is a big boy now.

My Camelias are blooming so pretty too. They bloom in Dec to Mar

They look fertile to me. I know a real good way to find out for sure…it involves an incubator.


One of my Orps who SWORE she was a pullet on the day the van left for Freezer Camp is now crowing. These Birds are lying to me!!!

Aww you poor thang..... Don't despair I tell you... He is there for a reason.. soo don't toss him out.

I have 13 eggs in the bator now... hoping for the best... other wise I will have to trim skirts for the first time.... and I don't wanna.
