Beth - the pictures look great - I'm glad to see some from you. I can't believe Skoche !! She has really grown up and I"m glad to hear that she is as sweet as she used to be. I miss the little girl - I don't have a hair-snuggling buddy anymore

I took some pictures of my big blue boy.
Joy and Julie can you tell who he came from? He is about 5 1/2 months old and has just started to crow.

I'm thinking of naming him Walter. He is the calmest most easy going roo of the 8 that I have.

Here are pictures of the different colors in the speckled sussex/blue orp cross. Can you all see the blue and purple? They are 8 weeks old.

Dayton, that is a big beautiful roo - and I like the name Walter. As in Sir Walter Raleigh?

Thank you he came from either Joy or Julie, don't know which.

Did you see any purple or blue in the feathers of the babies?

He is one of the 8 that I got from Helen. She said that you can tell which they came from you or Joy. I can't tell, but he is by far the biggest of the bunch there is one black with a tail that is the next biggest in size but not as big as this guy. All the rest are just getting tails so it's hard to compare. This blue did win his class at the Maryland show and won best variety, the black on won his class and RV.

He has just started to crow and chase the ladies!

Hey Carolyn,

Not sure if he is from Winston or Charlie. The two batches of eggs that I sent Helen hatched on 05/21 & 06/11. If Julie knows what the hatch date is on the eggs that she sent Helen, we might can figure it out from that.

Regardless - he is a pretty boy...and big !!

I do see the colors in that 2nd picture of your orp cross. Will be interesting to see when she grows up !!
