I meant that the hawks are constantly flying over. But, the rooster can jump a 4 foot fence with no problem.

That's cool! The biggest leap I've ever known mine take was my jubilee rooster flew into my stock tank when I was inside... Yeah, so mine don't go out unsupervised anymore. I even have low roosting places for them, otherwise they would just sleep on the ground.

Your birds are gorgeous though. I hope mine look that good someday! I should have known you were talking about the hawks. I dunno what I was thinking.

My roo can get over a 4 foot fence also. So much for this "Orps can't fly" rumor.

I have a 5 foot lean-to roof over my hanging feeder that my Chocolate Bantams jump up to all of the time.

I keep mine behind a 4ft. chain link fence with out a problem at all but they roost about 5ft. in the coop at night, crazy ain't it ?
Got a decent pic.of Elvis today he is going on 3 now.

Well the hens dont look there best right now from being in the brood pen, but I will try to get some pic. this weekend.
