I was just about to ask the same thing! Never heard of it...I'm sorry if someone has already asked this, but can someone please explain what stress barring is? I have tried google and nothing really comes up. I've not heard the term before and would like to be informed....
Stress barring occurs when chicks are stressed while growing new feathers due to parasites, illness, or drastic change in diet. This causes the white marks in the feathers growing in . The pattern suggests stress barring in this chick.Mottling is never that even across the wings.I was just about to ask the same thing! Never heard of it...

I found some great pics about a year ago of some buffs for sale..beautiful birds..one of the orp people said check this out..those pics were stolen straight from a breeder in UKs site..they did not have any of those birds or thier offspring here...terrible misrepresentation..but you now know to maybe get to know people a lot better ..a lesson learned ..people should take their time getting to know breeders and see lots of pics..I was almost taken in by how well that add was done..too bad you couldnt get your money back.If you have read my posts you should know that I am not complaing about the gene or the chick....what I am upset about is the misrepresentation when purchased is that they were 100% Pure English when the breeder knew they were not.
