The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I finally I got my chocolate English Orp bantams. They came from Louisiana and got here yesterday and were shipped Tuesday afternoon. All made it through shipping, but 5 have died. I have ten left that are doing great. Hopefully I end up with some good birds.
 
Here is "Hungry" .by Monty ,out of Mrs. Pumphry at 7 months. He is 100% English. A test breeding has his first chicks arriving in July. He is a very correct, large boy, with a sweet temperament.





I don't breed many . so if you might want juveniles, or birds to show this fall; contact me now.

Aww sorry you lost some- it's VERY hot down here right now. Not sure what part of Louisiana your's came from, but where I'm at even my pool was was 98 today!

One of our Partridge girls started laying today! Very excited. :D Her comb has been red for the last two weeks so we have been waiting. She's the better sized of our two girls but a couple of weeks younger.


Congrats! What was their hatch date?
