Hello all! I've been on hiatus for the last couple of weeks, spending all my time raking feathers
, but finally had a chance to catch up on the thread. So many beautiful orp pictures everyone! I thought I'd add to the bunch...
Progression of my favorite blue cockerel from Julie
at four months

At six months old

At eleven months (this afternoon)

with his tail blowing in the breeze. He'll be going to a local show in Central Florida this coming Saturday
I also have a few blue pullets which I am impatiently waiting to mature...
This one is a 3 month old cross of Roger's line and an American line to increase size while retaining lacing

Both of the below pictures are a 5 month old pullet hatched from Roger's eggs with exquisite lacing

6 month old pullet from Nellie's line with nice lacing on her hackle feathers

Two more three month old pullets that are Roger's line crossed with my American line (the one father back looks like someone took a magic marker to her)

And finally, this khaki (mauve) pullet which is what I'll be working on this winter/spring with chocolates from Bryce and Nellie (pic of them to be posted soon - I just can't get them to stand still long enough for anything but action shots)

Thanks for letting me share, and constructive criticism is always appreciated! I'll be uploading more pics of my blacks next...
