Hello everyone!

I have some lavender orpingtons & I love their eggs so looking to expand into some other colors.
I don't like buff or white, other than that I'm pretty open.

Does anyone in the US have fertile orpington eggs for sale (Large fowl only)? Ideally chocolate, jubilee, or even black, but doesn't have to be. Just not white/yellow (or lavender since I already have them).

For eggs, you might try Heirloom Orpingtons or Greg Mignot at Old Orchard Farms. There are also lots of people on here with chicks. But I think Greg and Heirloom are one of the few left that will still ship eggs.

Just be forewarned about shipped hatching eggs. My last shipped eggs ended with a horrible hatch. So know that the Post Office really can do harm to the eggs. But you might get lucky.

I live in town so I can only use mail order eggs.
I've done probably 40 or so orders through there, some with amazing results and some were really bad. Guess it's luck of the drawl.
Ironically I've only bought local eggs once from a BYC'er and only 1 of 20 hatched which was lower than any of my mail orders!

On ebay I try to find people with high ratings & close by so it's not shipping cross country, but always a gamble.

Greg is active on a facebook page I'm on. I didn't realize he had Orpingtons though, it's mostly about leghorns. I'll have to message him, thanks!
