Glad you all had a lovely day today! I spent all day outside here, too. It was around 70* and beautiful. Still fighting the dang mud, and slipping and sliding all over the place. Well, that won't last long, because tomorrow the high is only to be 38*.... sheeeesh! Back to winter, after having a few days of spring like weather.

Thy royalty here moved into their new coop today. They are gonna love it, even though they don't think so. You know how chickens are with change.

Soooo, they are now out of the muddy pit!

Jeremy - Thanks !! Bluebell is a beautiful girl for sure. Hagrid is not quite as big as Winston yet, but I think he might just be bigger when he if fully mature. Hagrid is only about 8.5 months old, so he has a lot of growing left to do. He is a dark, dark blue. Poor Dwain - those birds pecked his toes all afternoon !!

Kathy - your birds are looking really great !! I love the color on that blue boy of yours, and there are couple of blue girls in there whose color I just really love !! Great job !!

Katy - You definitely need to get some pictures and post !!! Would love to see what they look like now.

Paula - I plan on putting The O's with Sirius, because I want to build up a good black flock. Then I plan on putting them in with Nigel to see what color blue I get. I imagine they'll get with Hagrid at one time or another. LOL.

Julie - Thanks !! I think Minerva is laying again. I can't wait until it warms up and I can trim Winston and hatch some more of their chicks.

I'm so envious of everyone with their fully developed birds, beautiful! I just love my girl Annie, although she does run after me every morning and peck me! I think she thinks I'm one of the hens. I sure hope she grows a tail soon. She's probably around 4 months old now.
